NEXT SEASON?

Basketball is a very popular sport and teams will be limited for the upcoming season. Places in our teams are offered to current players first and then to children on our waitlist. You are welcome to add your child to our waitlist by completing the form below.

Winter season runs through Terms 2 and 3. Spring season starts in Term 4, breaks for the summer holidays and then resumes in Term 1 the following year. Fees for the season are around $335 plus an annual $50 Basketball WA/Australia fee. Fees are paid when players register and can be made by credit or debit Visa/MC/Amex card as well as PayPal Pay in 4.

Fees include weekly games/training, spectator entry, insurance, season windup, trophies/medals where awarded and use of a playing singlet for the season. Players just need to supply plain black, pocketless shorts. Games are played at HBF in Joondalup, Craigie Leisure Centre or at selected local schools. Most games are played on Saturdays. Older ages and some grades play on Monday or Friday nights. Phoenix trains at venues in the 6030 area including Irene McCormack, Peter Moyes and Butler College as well as Gumblossom Community Centre and Ace Ballerz in Wanneroo. Phoenix is a large club and we have boys/girls, inexperienced/experienced teams from U8 to U18.

The number of teams we can make each season depends on the number of coaches we have, so if you are keen for your child to play, please consider coaching. Training and support can be provided and coaches receive $100 off a child's playing fees for each team they coach.

If you would like to add your player to our waiting list for next season please complete the form below. We will look for a team for your player but completing the form won't guarantee a place. If a suitable place becomes available, we will contact you.
